Shooting a wedding at The Stone Cellar is always a privilege for me. Lisa and I were so excited to head out and shoot our last wedding of the year. As we arrived at the venue, there was much excitement, joy and celebration buzzing as the last of the decor was being checked and hung. For Amy this was the day she had been dreaming and planning for, a day where her and JP would unite as husband and wife in the sanctity of marriage. As the men got dressed in their attire, clad with cork bow-ties (so unique), the ladies were enjoying some laughs and refreshments amidst the heat and nerves of a very big day. What really stood out for us, was the attention to detail not only in the decor but in the couples expression of love for one another through the giving of gifts. A verse printed on a pair of socks, a message on a handkerchief and a rock with a message of excitement from the groom to his bride. What a special day indeed! JP and Amy may your marriage always be founded on Christ’s truth and his solid word. As you journey on this new and exciting road, may the Lord always be ahead of you, guiding and directing your path. I hope that these images remind you of a day, where you celebrated Christ as the center of your union and may he always be the reason you celebrate.
